It's definitely not fun being 18 and having asthma, but this drug usually helps. It's annoying having to sit in one spot for fifteen minutes though. Also, the drug makes me shaky for about an hour and a half and I'll get nervous for quite some time. Aside from that, it helps me breathe easier.

I have never used an inhaler before, so this was the first for me and it took a couple tries to get it right. Once I did, however, I was extremely impressed. I'd been short of breath due to bronchitis, which was making my cardio and body building routine difficult. This drug worked fairly quickly. I have experienced no side effects, but maybe this has something to do with being physically fit. I would recommend it to anyone (who is otherwise fit and healthy) having breathing issues due to Bronchitis.

8 month old twins got a very bad cold with onset of bronchitis. To help prevent and to sooth their breathing, their pediatrician gave both this medication. Neither had side affects, it helped so much and I will use it again

When I take albuterol is when I begin having shortness of breath. I cannot wait too long or it is difficult to get under control and takes hours of every 3-4 hours treatments to get under control if I delay use.

using "inhalers" requires you carry and suck down prescribed "inhalers" "EVERY 6 HOURS", however with "albuterol sulfate (ER) oral" you need only take "every 12 hours" needless to say, much easier to carry and not as "heat" sensitive as "inhalers". I have been using for over 20 years, and my only issue is the lack of education "Doctors" have concerning this medication. I have to go through anywhere from 2-6+ ?Physicians? before I find someone educated/experienced enough to recognize its validity in "asthma" care/maintenance. I really wish this drug was better understood and more widely prescribed.

we are currently using this on our three month old son. since we have started he does nothing but shake every 5 minutes and he screams every time the spasms come on. he also seems to cramp up .. its either scrng him or he is in pain... the doctors say its normal but it only helps is breathing for a short while and since he cant sleep he cant feel better.. i was always told sleep is key to recovering from anything.

I use this medication to help with daily wheezing and trouble breathing. Overall this medication helps, but the side-effects of having a massive drowsiness is out of control!!! But i guess the side effects me more because i only take it when assign too!! If you take this medication please don't use any sort of destructive weapon or vehicle!!! Usally i would take a nap afterward and i will not be healed all the way but i would be satisfied to be able to start working normally!!

I was instructed by ER doctors to give this to my almost 4 year old daughter. I have given her 3 dosages and she looks lethargic, has thrown up so many times I can not count, refuses to eat anything, scared, complains her legs hurt, and I will not be giving this to her again.

we are currently using this on our three month old son. since we have started he does nothing but shake every 5 minutes and he screams every time the spasms come on. he also seems to cramp up .. its either scrng him or he is in pain... the doctors say its normal but it only helps is breathing for a short while and since he cant sleep he cant feel better.. i was always told sleep is key to recovering from anything.
